One woman was injured in a two-vehicle accident Friday morning near the intersection of Highway 30 and Highway 218.

     According to the Benton County Sheriff’s Office, a southbound driver failed to yield at a stop sign and was hit by a semi-trailer. The woman driving the car was taken by air ambulance to a Cedar Rapidshospital. The injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
