Help is still available for individuals and communities impacted by the Derecho in counties that were federally declared for the individual assistance program: Benton, Boone, Cedar, Linn, Marshall, Polk, Poweshiek, Scott, and Tama Counties.

If you are an individual in need of assistance with temporary home repairs, or needing help removing debris, AmeriCorps may be able to help! AmeriCorps teams will be assisting with removing trees and brush, chainsaw work, and helping tarp and secure homes with damage caused by the Derecho. For language assistance, call the Multi Language Line at 1-877-558-2609. Individuals must call no later than October 5, 2020.
