Hopefully, the days of birthday parades will soon be a distant memory. For those celebrating milestones during COVID-19 it's a small way to wish those with a special day a memorable day.

Saturday, Norval Staton's family decided to surprise him with a parade for his birthday. His sister Vicky was able to convince him to sit on the porch with her to enjoy the afternoon. Shortly after, nearly 30 vehicles including cars, tractors, trucks, motorcycles and golf carts all drove by to celebrate his 87th birthday. Norval was known in the community as the guy that used to mow lawns and trim or take down trees during his retirement.

The family would like to thank those that came out for sharing a small part of your day to put a smile on Norval's face. Happy Birthday, Norval!
