The cutest democrat caucus attendee in the 2nd Precinct finding entertainment during the meeting
Stopping first at the Republican Caucus, which was held at the middle school, hey it was closer, the crowd was relatively small compared to the packed parking lot at the high school.
The results are no surprise on the Republican ticket with Trump receiving 98% or 270 votes of the Republican votes in Benton County, and Walsh with 1% or 4 votes and Weld receiving 0%. with 1.
Statewide Trump came in with 98% Walsh 1% Weld 1%.
Popping into the 2nd Ward Democrat Caucus with 40 in attendance, I had heard that there used to be a lot of wrangling for delegates. Apparently the way that the decision is made now has been streamlined so the choice is made much more quickly. Rosemary Schwartz, Benton County's Democrat chair lead the evening.
