Brandon School Song

Come on Brandon, Dear old Brandon, Come on Brandon High!

Here's your game and here's your gang!

We'll back you to the sky, rah, rah, rah!

Every Yank and Yankee doodle hear our battle cry!

On Brandon BHS, on Brandon High!

Brandon School Cheer

Yay Blue! Yay Gold!

Yay Brandon Let's Go!

For the 99th year in a row, the alumni of the Brandon school gathered together to hold their Annual Brandon All School Reunion. Meeting at the Brandon Community Center the room was buzzing with conversation and laughter as everyone caught up with each other.

The Class of 1969 was honored at the event of which two members were in attendance,Susan (Cashman) Knott and Mary Jean (Postal) Eddy.

When speaking with the attendees most agreed that if there were 15 in a class it was considered a "large" class while a number closer to 10 was the norm.

The group intends to try to make the event next year a much larger event because of the 100th Anniversary of the very first event which took place in 1920 and had 3 attendees. As the aging crowd gathered many commented on the dwindling attendance.

As each class year was called, the members present stood to be recognized and shared about where they now lived and a little about themselves if they so desired.

Some present were at the Brandon school when it closed, and had to complete their education through another school district.

One of the graduates was Shirley Wiley who spoke with fondness of the group gathered there and her appreciation for those that put the event together. She shared with the crowd that she remembered how her parents always attended as well. Shirley and ladies from her class gather a few times a year just to touch base with each other. Some from as far away as Colorado attended the event.

If you were ever a student at or a graduate of the Brandon school, you are invited to contact Jodene at the email address here:j.ludden@hotmail.com

The 100th Celebration is tentatively set for the evening of September 19, 2020.

Below are some of the graduates and attendees of the school that were present and some that could not attend. Jodene would like to ask your help to invite as many from the school, for next year's event!
