News : LOCAL GRILLER WINS IN FARM BUREAU 56th ANNUAL COOKOUT CONTEST

Jared Merchant, of Vinton, won 1st Place in the Pork category of the 56th annual Iowa Farm Bureau Federation (IFBF) Cookout Contest during the Iowa State Fair. He took home $150 provided by the Iowa Pork Producers Association. Earlier this summer, Merchant was a winner at the Benton County Farm Bureau Cookout Contest. The victory allowed him to enter the state contest. Congratulations Jared!!
