News : Anderson Creek Estate development moving forward

A group met at Farmers Savings Bank & Trust to discuss building options at Anderson Creek Estates

On Tuesday, July 30th, Farmers Savings Bank & Trust hosted an open house for anyone interested in hearing more about the Anderson Creek Estate development and learning more about the steps needed to move forward with the purchase of a lot and building a new home.

John Ketchen shared with the attendees how the development has come together and the expectations for building on the property. They are hoping to begin the build of a spec home in the next month. Mayor Bud Maynard shared the city should have the roads open in the next couple weeks for those that would like to view the sites up close.

Tom Lindauer and Heather Kingsbury, both VP/Loan Officers of FSBT provided a packet of helpful financing information. Tom shared they have a free and easy Pre-Approval application to kickstart the process. Included in the packet was a checklist to help create a budget for building a home, so all areas are covered, and no surprise costs jump up.
