We've finally hit the right temperature for the fair, HOT!
Here is a link to pictures from this morning's events. I want to thank Connie McClintock for her wonderful cooking demonstration, great tips on cooking scones and cream puffs..but the best part was sampling the goodies! It's official, I want to live at Connie's house!
During this, the judges of the horticulture displays were critiquing several plants, flowers and specimens of the plant world.
There are a few pictures from the cow show. I'm a city girl, so watching these cattle parade through gives me a greater appreciation for our farmers and for the training that they give their children. I was so impressed with the way that these 1000+ plus animals were being led by these future farmers. It's impressive. If you're a city kid like I am, you've got to get out there to see this!
Well, I'm off to the fair to catch more afternoon events!
