23 Vinton-Shellsburg FFA students attended the State Leadership Conference.
The group was involved in a total of 6 contests, 4 awards, 2 state band members, 3 Iowa Degrees, 2 hands-on tours, hosted a dinner with the National FFA President from California Luke O'Leary, and 1 proficiency award member:

The students also toured the Iowa State University's Sukup Basketball Complex as well as the USDA Animal Disease Center.
Our Chapter also received an overall Gold Ranking for the National Chapter Award.
This way a great opportunity for the Vinton FFA Chapter to showcase the amount of hard work and excellence is a part of this program! I want to thank the community members, parents, and high school staff for allowing all these students to go to Ames and represent what is happening in the Vinton-Shellsburg FFA Chapter!
