News : National Weather Service Announces Flood Warning through the next week

The National Weather Service in Quad Cities has issued a
* Flood Warning for
  The Cedar River at Vinton.
* Until further notice.
* At 10:15 AM Tuesday the stage was 5.7 feet and rising.
* Flood stage is 15.0 feet.
* No flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast, Rise above flood stage Saturday and continue rising to
  16.3 feet Monday morning. Additional rainfall is forecast Thursday
  and Thursday night which may push river levels higher.
* Impact, At  15.0 feet, Minor Flood Stage. Agricultural and low land
  flooding is ongoing. Water affects much of 22nd Avenue Road
  northwest of Vinton.
