Robert Edward Noble, 57, Cedar Rapids faces additional charges following his arrest on outstanding warrants Thursday morning December 27th.
Urbana Police learned that Noble had been staying at the Urbana Inn and Suites and had outstanding arrest warrants that originated from Fayette County Iowa for two counts of failure to appear for a probation violation. Bond on those warrants was $ 10,000.00.
Urbana Police with the assistance of Benton County Sheriff Deputies took Noble into custody and found Methamphetamine and drug paraphernalia in the room Noble was staying in.
He was subsequently charged with possession of drug paraphernalia (simple misdemeanor) and possession of methamphetamine, second and subsequent offenses (class d felony). Total bond on those charges is $ 5,300.00.
Noble is currently in the Benton County Jail awaiting a court appearance.
