News : Q and U Hitched (again)

Quickly and quietly, a quartet of Tilford Elementary 1st Grade classes celebrated the unique union of the letters Q and U on Friday, with the traditional QU Wedding. The quandry was how to be in more than one classroom to cover the "Q"uties! The quest for the right angle was quite tough. But we captured the shots for your entertainment. Each service included the reading of the ceremony, as well as a round of the usual wedding dance favorites, followed by the highlight for the children, cupcakes! Mayor John Watson and Principal Jim Murray presided over the services which were attended by several of the parents. The efforts of these teachers to pull off this event was evident in every detail, from the programs, to the veils, if there were grades for these gals, they'd definitely receive an A+!
