News : Vinton Parks and Rec need your help August 20-22

With just one week to go before starting the 3-day Riverside Park Community Playground Build event, we are still in need of a lot of volunteer assistance on our Assembly Crew! Please consider volunteering a morning or afternoon if you are able to get away to help construct this sizable playground. Build dates are August 20-22 and shifts each day are 8 AM - 1 PM and 1 PM - 6 PM. We'll have a certified playground installer on hand leading the charge...now all we need is the muscle!  (By the way, you don't have to be super strong or mechanically inclined to make a difference on the assembly crew...we'll have things to do for people of all abilities!)
