News : Vehicle thefts reported in Vinton; residents reminded to lock doors

The Vinton Police Department said today that another round of vehicle thefts and attempted thefts have been reported in unlocked vehicles throughout Vinton. The VPD has shared this announcement: "Please be sure to lock your cars and remove your valuables from the vehicle to keep this from happening to you. If you believe that your car was rummaged through, please call the Police Department so that we can track where in town this is occurring at 319-472-2321."
