The Vinton water tower painting project continues. The priming of the exterior now leaves part of the word Vinton covered up. Crews had begun several days earlier by sand-blasting. The temporary barriers seen outside the tower are designed to keep any lead that may be in the old paint from escaping during sand-blasting.
