News : Betterton, Fusely represent area at AUU wrestling event

The Iowa AAU wrestlers hosted a team dual championship event in Des Moines last weekend. Among the wrestlers for the Hawkeye State team were Scott Betterton of Vinton-Shellsburg and Caleb Fusely of Center Point Urbana. Betterton went 6-1 at 152 pounds for the Iowa Gold team, which finished 4th in team scoring. He had to take a medical forfeit on his last two matches due to a shoulder injury. Fusely was on the first-place Iowa Gold team, wrestling at 126 pounds.
