News : Animal Shelter adopts new temporary policy on drop-offs for Vinton residents

Due to an incident on Thursday, October 14, 2010, the Friends of the Shelter need to limit who can bring strays to the shelter. If you are a Vinton resident and have a stray dog or cat, call the sheriff’s office at 472-2337 for the animal control officer to pick up the animal. This policy will be in place until further notice.
