The Vinton-Shellsburg Post Prom Committee has begun fund-raising efforts as the organization plans this year's event.
The first event takes place this Friday.
Below is a list of fund-raising efforts to look for in the near future:
 
FRIDAY, OCT 15TH @ Home VS Football game
     *** Football Toss at Halftime -- throw mini footballs into a trash can to win $50.00 cash!
 
ANNUAL THANKSGIVING HOMEMADE PIE SALES  $10.00 each
STARTING OCT 24TH - NOVEMBER 15TH 
     *** Taking preorders for APPLE, CHERRY, BLUEBERRY & PUMPKIN pies.  All homemade... all are fresh for you to bake, except the Pumpkin!  Can be frozen!
 
LOOKING FOR SPONSORS FOR UPCOMING FUNDRAISER ** SEAT CUSHIONS
    *** The committee is looking for local businesses that are interested in putting their name on the seat cushions that we will be selling at the Winter Sports.  There is room for approx 4-6 sponsors names on the back side of the seat cushion.  Sponsorships are a minimum of $100.00.  Contact Teresa Strong for information --- strongpatrol11@msn.com or 319-651-4611.
