John Gualtier, a World War 2 medic who has shared his stories with many area students and has spent thousands of hours as a VA volunteer in recent years, has received another honor.
The Veterans Administration web site named him as its Veteran of the Day last week, publishing a tribute to Gualtier on Jan. 19
