Below is the Benton County Sheriff's Office Patrol Division Activity Report for September 2010:

Benton County Sheriff Randall Forsyth reports that deputies answered 278 calls for service and investigated 16 accidents. Deputies attempted to serve 154 civil papers and issued 59 traffic citations and 171 traffic warnings.

There were 40 arrests/juvenile referrals with 53 charges being filed in September 2010.

(19) were simple misdemeanors, (21) were indictable misdemeanors, and (13) were felony charges. Charges included: OWI – 9; driving while license suspended, revoked or barred – 7; warrants served – 5; Assault – 4; Public Intoxication – 2; Drug Related – 5; Possession of Alcohol Under Age – 6; Burglary – 4; Theft – 6; Criminal Mischief – 1; Disorderly Conduct – 3; Filing False Reports – 1.
