Several Vinton firemen, including Scott Geissinger, asked drivers to 'fill the boot' for MDA.
During the Saturday before the Jerry Lewis Labor Day MDA Telethon, several Vinton firefighters spent a few hours collecting donations from drivers at local intersections. Firemen throughout the U.S. support the MDA with their "Fill the Boot" campaign.
