News : Vinton police offer reminder to lock vehicles after car burglary reported

The Vinton Police Department is asking citizens to lock their vehicles when vehicles are parked during the day or night when they are home or away. \

This past Friday night a resident of Vinton was a victim of a car burglary. Their vehicle was entered and the contents rummaged through while it was parked in their driveway over the weekend. Ten music CDs and about $5 in change was reported stolen. The police department is asking for help from citizens to report any suspicious activities in their neighborhood by calling the Vinton Police Department at 319-472-2321.
