News : Angel Tree donations continue

The Angel Tree program has begun; trees are being set up at Farmers and US Bank.

G & G customers again have filled a corner of the store with gifts for Angel Tree participants.

The Angel Tree program is in the final days of the gift-giving. A few cards remain on the trees at Cedar Valley Bank, Farmers Bank and US Bank in Vinton, where participants can choose a card, which contains age and size information for a particular child. Those gifts should be returned to the banks by Dec. 13. The tree at G & G Auto Parts is surrounded by many toys, gifts from customers there.

Last week, Windsor Manor hosted the WMT "Stuff the Bus" event. Randy Lee interviewed LaNette Parker about the Angel Tree Program.
