News : Eight is not enough: Boomtown 2015 set for Aug. 28-29

Fireworks will return in August of 2015 for the 9th annual Boomtown.

We asked for it, and the Iowa Pyrotechnic Association is kind enough to let us have it!

While we may not think it possible, the IPA knows no boundaries, and is ready to bring us a BIGGER, BADDER and BETTER Boomtown! Boomtown will return to Vinton for its 9th year in 2015! And because the IPA knows their Boomtown followers so well, they know we like to start our planning early, they have selected the dates for their 9th annual show.

You are reading it here first – direct from the IPA themselves! If you don’t already have a 2015 calendar, get one now….skip ahead to August and block out the weekend of the 28th and 29th for our Boomtown Blowout!!!

Call your family and friends, have them save the dates. Then sit back and start your planning. Make plan #1 to be to arrive early and get that coveted “on site” parking and grab those unobstructed bleacher seats that give you the great view! Plan to bring at least one person that’s never been before – make them a Boomtown believer. Plan to spend the entire day in Vinton, shopping, dining, picnicking on the river, and taking in the scenery and local charm.
