Laura Johnson is one of Boom-fest’s featured artists, and specializes in creating fine art wall portraits for her clients. She says that what makes her unique is the attention to detail that goes into each and every piece of art she creates. They are designed specifically to fit their wall size and to mesh with their decor colors, while adding an impressive finish to the home. Drawing on her former experience in pencil art, painting, and chalk pastels, this Cedar Falls resident says that her inspiration comes from “the great old master painters and portrait artists.” “I enjoy creating masterpieces that will last for generations.
