Thanks to veteran Dave Pladsen, the American Legion has a Flag Drop location 
for used flags awaiting proper disposal. The American Legion at 105 
North R Ave, Vinton holds a flag disposal ceremony each year in the 
fall. If you have a used flag please stop at the American Legion and leave in the designated receptacle .
