They usually see him on TV, but on Wednesday afternoon, dozens of children saw IPTV's Dan Wardell in person. Wardell visited the Vinton library, where he used his interactive comedy routine to encourage children to read. 

Wardell's presentation was part of the Summer Library Program, which has the state wide theme of "Make a Splash — Read!"
