Boy Scout Troop 47 Scoutmaster receives 100+ 1 gift from Bethlehem Lutheran Church Pres.George Bauer

Bethlehem Lutheran Church of Vinton in its centennial year, 2013, shared its celebration with the community in monthly gifts of $100 given to organizations and causes beyond the organization. In its 101st year the congregation is continuing the monthly gifts in the amount of $101. The February gift was given to Boy Scout Troop 47 of Vinton on Boy Scout Sunday, February 2.

Members of the congregation have been very involved in the Boy Scouts. Current Bethlehem members who are Eagle Scouts include Eric Dickinson, Christian Garloff, Daniel Garloff, Erik Jertson, Andrew Sampson, David Urlaub, Pastor Mark C. Urlaub, Stephen Urlaub, John Westergard, and Jacob Westpfahl. Scout leaders from Bethlehem include Dennis Eden, Dan Hill, Gregg Sampson, Debbie Sampson, and Sheila Stickels as well as Troop 47 Committee members Eric Dickinson, Tina Eden, Denise Evans, and Wendy Hill.
