The variety of car lovers matched the variety of cars as the streets of downtown Vinton filled with vintage cars and vintage car lovers Saturday afternoon.
Despite the heat, hundreds of people, from babies in strollers to grandparents pushing them, came to town to see the 26th annual Cruise.
Registration begin at 3 p.m. While many volunteers helped the car owners sign in and find a place to park their vehicles, vendors sold food and t-shirts.
The cruise was scheduled to begin at 7 p.m., leaving from the courtouse for the annual ride through Vinton.
