They made rockets from Coca-Cola and Mentos. They played with dirt and water. They made lava lamps using Alka-Seltzer. 

Along the way, the many participants of the Iowa State University Extension Science Camps throughout Benton County learned lessons about science through these projects and experiments. 

The final week of camp was last week, in Vinton. Sarah Reiss, Greg Walston and Kelby Robb led the campers in a variety of experiments and fun.
