NHS, FFA and DFS all came together for X-MAS on Saturday, as the Vinton-Shellsburg high school students and some adult volunteers decorated downtown Vinton for the holiday season.
Each year, businesses offer donations to the VS Dollars For Scholars program in exchange for the greenery and lights and the labor of high school students to place it along the store fronts.
The National Honor Society and Future Farmers of America have worked on this project together for several years.
