Three of the final eight teams in the 2013 Men's Waterfight event at the Iowa Firefighters Association Convention were from Benton County.

The Shellburg team led by Hank Roue finished third; two Urbana teams were also in the quarterfinals, but lost.

Vinton's team, led by Dennis Bramow lost its first contest to an opponent that Bramow had beaten last year.

Bramow's team has won several trophies this year, but his goal is to win first place at a future IFA Convention.

"I told myself earlier this year that I have 10 years to try to win it," said Bramow after the event.

Below is a video from Dennis's competition; Dennis used a helmet cam to record it.
