For the second year, LifeServe Blood Center is participating in The We Give Blood campaign, a partnership between Abbott and the Big Ten Conference. Season 2 is kicking off this Wednesday, August 27.
Starting on day one of the campaign, donors will be eligible to win a limited drop Homefield custom design t-shirt featuring the team of their choice (while supplies last). Students, fans, and alumni of any of the 18 member schools are encouraged to visit a LifeServe Blood Center donor center or mobile blood drive to donate blood now until Friday, December 5, 2025.
When they do, they are encouraged to submit their donation and vote for their favorite school by visiting BigTen.Org/Abbott or by texting DONATE to 222688 (ABBOTT). The winning school will receive a $1 million donation for the college to use to advance student or community health. Schedule your blood donation right now with LifeServe.
Every donation is more than a t-shirt and bragging rights-it can help impact up to three lives, and someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds. To book your appointment, visit lifeservebloodcenter.org or call 800.287.4903.
