Effective Monday, March 8, Iowa vaccine providers can officially begin vaccinating additional priority populations. Individuals 64 years of age and younger with medical conditions that are or may be an increased risk of severe illness from COVID-19 are now eligible. Benton County Public Health is working through the following tiers set by Iowa Department of Public Health. We are currently vaccinating tier 1 and 2, while also vaccinating persons 65 years and older and adding persons 18-64 with certain chronic conditions this week.

See Center for Disease Control's (CDC) recommendations for those conditions here: https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/need-extra-precautions/people-with-medical-conditions.html
