Health and Fitness : LifeServe's Annual Blue Blood Drive with Local Law Enforcement is Here!

LifeServe Blood Center is asking community members to show their support for local heroes the week of January 4-9.

LifeServe Blood Center is partnering with Iowa C.O.P.S. (Concerns of Police Survivors) to host special blood drives across the area the week of January 4, ending on January 9, annual Law Enforcement Appreciation Day. This Blue Blood Drive week honors law enforcement officers while providing much needed blood donations to community hospitals.

The Blue Blood Drive will be held at every LifeServe Donor Center and community blood drive taking place the week of January 4-9. Donors who roll up a sleeve to give the gift of life and show their support will receive a voucher for a free t-shirt!

Iowa Concerns of Police Survivors, C.O.P.S. provides resources to assist in the rebuilding of the lives of surviving families and affected co-workers of law enforcement officers killed in the line of duty as determined by Federal criteria. Iowa C.O.P.S. provides training to law enforcement agencies on survivor victimization issues and educates the public of the need to provide ongoing support to the law enforcement profession and its survivors.
