Saturday found the high school gym full of 57 various booths of activities and information for the area residents to enjoy. Outside in the parking lot the Vinton Fire Department, Pink Heals, as well as a Child Carseat Check station was available among others.

The local Sheriff's department had fingerprinting available for children as well as a place for the children to have their picture taken. Children could also pet Gino the Vinton Police Department's dog.

Various insurance, healthcare and other businesses had booths available to share their information with all who attended. Many had literature or a small gift for the public to take home with them.

Virginia Gay Hospital had several booths available for glucose testing, sleep lab information as well as rehab, dietary, radiology and a booth for their clinics.

The event provided something for everyone and was well attended by both the young and the old.
