Government : Rep. Tom Gerhold Sworn in for the 91st General Assembly

On Monday, January 13th, Rep. Tom Gerhold (R-Atkins) was sworn

into the Iowa House of Representatives on the first day of the

91st General Assembly. The swearing-in ceremony was followed by opening remarks by Speaker of the House Pat Grassley, outlining

some of the priorities of the Legislature for the 2025 session.

This is Rep. Gerhold's fourth term in the Iowa House of Representatives.  

He serves as the Vice Chair of the Environmental Protection 

Committee. He also serves on the Agriculture, Labor and

Workforce, International Relations, and Veterans Affairs Committees.
