Government : Benton County Board of Supervisors Minutes November 22, 2022

The Benton County Board of Supervisors met in regular session with Supervisors Seeman and Bierschenk present. Primmer called in. The meeting was called to order at 9:00 a.m. at the conference room at the Benton County Service Center. Members of the public were provided the zoom access capability to join in during open session and livestream at https://www.youtube.com/bentoncountyiowa. Unless otherwise noted, all actions were approved unanimously. Bierschenk moved/Seeman seconded: To approve payroll checks numbered 142544 through 142657, ACH Deposits 51233 through 5151382, claims numbered 244415 through 244602 and vendor checks 244603 through 244610. Motion carried.

Bierschenk moved/Primmer seconded: approve the Class B liquor license for McBride Mobile Taps, LLC for December 8, 2022 through December 12, 2022. Motion carried.

Bierschenk moved/Seeman seconded: To acknowledge the Veteran's Affairs Quarterly Reports. Motion carried.

Primmer moved/Bierschenk seconded: To approve Resolution #22-107, Employment status change for Zach Fiser and Brian Sondag from Part-time to Full-time in Sheriff's Department. Motion carried.

Primmer moved/Bierschenk seconded: To approve and authorize signature on the dissemination agent agreement from D.A. Davidson. Motion

Primmer moved/Bierschenk seconded: To set Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at 9:15 a.m. for land use hearing date for Dan Wirtanen, in part of the Parcel A in the SE ¼ of the SE ¼ of Section 15-83-9. Motion carried.

Bierschenk moved/Primmer seconded: To approve 10 days of vacation carryover for Marc Greenlee to be used within the year. Motion carried.

Bierschenk moved/Primmer seconded: To approve Resolution #22-108, Temporary Road Closure from 22nd Avenue Trail thence easterly 1.0 mile to 22nd Avenue along 55th Street in Cedar Township. Motion carried.

Bierschenk moved/Primmer seconded: To give Myron Parizek permission to attend the April, 2023 NACE conference in Alabama. Motion carried.

Bierschenk moved/Seeman seconded: To approve the minutes from Tuesday, November 8, 2022 and Thursday, November 10, 2022. Motion carried.

Seeman reported on the landfill meeting he attended.

Bierschenk moved/Primmer seconded: To Adjourn. Motion carried.
