The U.S. Census Bureau is asking all Americans to send in their Census forms, counting all who was living in their homes as of, April 1.

Most Americans had Census forms mailed to their home addresses earlier this year.

The Census Bureau will begin contacting Americans who have not sent in their forms later this month. Participation in the Census is required by federal law.

For more information, call the Census toll-free at 866-872-6868 between 8 a.m. and 9 p.m. any day of the week.

If you cannot find your form, go to the U.S. Census Web site at www.census.gov/2010census

Just a reminder that the census is used to count all the residents of Iowa, breaking the information down into counties and cities. The information helps the community qualify for funding at times. So be sure to fill it out. Of course, if you don't a Census Worker will have to make a trip to your door to count heads, so save them a trip!
