Government : Primary Election Polling Places will be open with changes

Polling places for the Primary on Tuesday will be open.

Precinct locations are listed below. Please check for your polling place. The courthouse will NOT be used as a polling place for this election.

There will be fewer workers for this election with workers being provided face shields for poll workers and masks will also be provided.

"We have cleaning supplies to wipe off surfaces periodically, and enough ballot marking devices, that can be put in a box and sprayed down for later use. We will have social distancing notices placed on the floors etc," said Auditor, Hayley Rippel.

Absentee ballots have been in great demand but the Auditor reminds voters that ballots need to be returned in time. "They have to be postmarked by June 1st, or hand-delivered to the courthouse before the polls close on election day," she said. "We have the drop box at the west door or if they call us and feel more comfortable someone can meet and take it from them at the door. It is very important the envelope is sealed and the voter signed their affidavit envelope."
