Government : Benton County Sheriff's Office issues release concerning Weapon Permits

With the shut down of County Offices, we have been receiving multiple calls and questions concerning Weapon Permits. The Dept of Public Safety is currently working on rule revisions to address Permits. We will let the public know when we have more information.

They are currently working to determine options for several issues including, but not limited to:
* Mechanisms for new and renewal weapon permit application and document submissions
* Expiring permits during period of full or partial processing shutdowns
* Status of permit printing services
