Government : Vinton City Council to Meet, Vote to Appoint Electric Board Member

The Vinton City Council will meet on Thursday, December 19 at 6:00 p.m. 

On the agenda is the Mayor's appointment of a member to the Vinton Municipal Electric Utilities. At the last council meeting, the Mayor reappointed Mike Elwick, but the appointment did not pass the Council's approval with Parr, Hessenius, Edwards voting yes, Hesson and Stark voting no and Elwick abstaining.
