One of the new favorites at the Benton County Fair will return again this year. The Night of Destruction, with walls of fire and the very popular trailer races (demolition derbies involving trucks pulling trailers around the race track) will take place on Friday, July 24.

 We will be holding Software Club next Thursday, July 9th, at 6:00 pm. It will be here at the store with a limit of 6 people. Arlis will be working mainly with Monograms as requested.

Click to View Governors Proclamation Amateur Radio “Field Day” June 27 – 28, 2015 Demonstrates Science, Skill, and Service  May 18, 2015   Amateur radio operators from the Cedar Valley Amateur club, Eastern Iowa DX association and the Rockwell Collins Amateur Radio Club will be joining forces to participate in an international practice emergency communications event termed Field Day 2015 June 27 & 28 at Faye Clark Park in Hiawatha.

The annual Party in the Park Parade begins at 5:30 p.m. Saturday.   Theme: AgriCULTURE Pride Grand Marshals: Keith Elwick NO REGISTRATION FEES! Line up will begin at the Benton County Fairgrounds at 4:30 pm.

2015 Party in the Park Competitions Vinton’s upcoming ‘Party in the Park’ three-day festival is a great opportunity for families and people of all ages to relax, play games, eat some amazing food and enjoy some great entertainment.

Here’s your chance to show off your talents and maybe even take home up to $100 in Vinton Value Dollars to spend around town! Riverside’s Got Talent will take place in the afternoonof Saturday, June 27th at Riverside Park.

Another totally fun and enjoyable day is in store at Garrison’s annual Fun Day Celebration on Saturday, July 11. This event is also the community’s annual celebration.

The rained-out Arts in the Park show and auction will take place Sunday June 28, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at celebration park. The corn are displayed at the bank on a trailer most of the week; Brian Parr will drive the trailer in the parade on Saturday, June 27.
