This past February, Easton Lindeman then age 2, son of Corey and Samantha was diagnosed with high-risk neuroblastoma, a type of cancer that affects his adrenal glands, spinal column, and bone marrow.

The annual kickoff to the Christmas season in Vinton will begin on Thursday, November 19, 2020 this year.The 13th Annual Veterans Patriotic Christmas Parade will kick off at 6 p.

Trick or Treating hours set for Vinton

The council discussed the official trick or treating hours for this Halloween and have decided that the hours will be 5-7:00 p.m. (on Halloween night) The council felt that residents who wish to participate should be able to do so and they recommend using the CDC guidelines.
