"Debt Paid, Keep the Change" is a book written by Vinton resident Chris Davies. Arriving here in September, he was still in the process of finishing his book The book set to release on April 3rd, is available now on Amazon, Barnes and Noble, Walmart.com, Ebooks and anywhere else that sells books.

There will be a book signing and launch party at Brickside Brew-N-Chew (115 West 4th St. Vinton) on Saturday, April 1 from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.

Davies grew up in the church, he was a former civilian worker with the Linn County Sheriffs Department for five years and he'd never been in trouble in his entire life. And then addiction changed all of that. Meth had created another addict and sent Davies spiraling out of control. A shadow of his former self, he then entered a life of crime to feed the drug addiction. As it continued to consume his life, he was eventually arrested and sentenced to five years in state prison and 37 months for a gun charge.

A solid life in every sense, it wasn't until he found himself on his knees in a jail cell that he fully surrendered his life to Christ for the first time. With his federal conviction reversed on appeal and being charged with a lesser count, he was released three years ago.
Promising the Federal Judge that she would only have see his name again for positive things that he would do in the community, he's kept that promise.
On a whim, Davies sent a portion of his manuscript to TBN, the Trinity Broadcast Network who immediately loved it and put him under contract with the company.
Sales from the book will support the Debt Paid Ministry LLC.
