On Monday, January 3rd, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party with 3 tables of players. Dora Vogt won 1st place with 256 points. Lois Rowman won 2nd place with 249 points. Third place went to Joy Baker with 238 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the Card Club. Joy Baker brought cake to share. HACAP provided the beverages. On Tuesday, January 4th, the activity was Surprise Bingo. The games were handpicked by Delane Kalina and the volunteer caller was Evelyn Greenwood. Game one was a 9-Pack and Jeanette Blazicek won a puzzle. Game two was a Wild Number and 3 Bingos with Geraldine Healy winning a mug. Game three was a Baseball with Delane Kalina winning a candy bar. Game four was a 12-Pack with Phyllis Ebert winning a meal ticket. JoAnn Roster won a sweatshirt on game five with blackout. On Wednesday, January 5th, the activity of the day was 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by Norma Ellis with the volunteer caller being Wendy Pennington. Game one was Frame the Card with Marion Isbell winning. Game two was an “X” with JoAnn Roster winning. Game three was a 9-Pack with Marion Isbell as the winner. Game four was an “L” for Love with Norma Ellis winning. Elsie Knaack won game five with blackout. On Thursday, January 6th, Barb Riggle provided the afternoon musical entertainment. On Friday, January 7th, the activity was a 500 card party. After the games, HACAP furnished beverages and other refreshments were provided by the card club. On Monday, January 10th, the activity of the day was a Pepper Card Party with 4 tables of players. First place went to Bud Barr with 300 points. Joy Baker won 2nd place with 281 points. Third place went to Geri Shaffer with 267 points. After the games, refreshments were provided by the card club and beverages provided by HACAP. On Tuesday, January 11th, we celebrated all the January birthdays. The birthday dinner guests included Jim Hyde, Elsie knack, Don Selken, Carol Sellers, and Janet Bee. Janet Bee won the door prize of a free meal ticket. On Wednesday, January 12th, we played 10-Cent Bingo. The games were handpicked by June Salerno and the volunteer caller was Wendy Pennington. Game one was an outside picture frame with Geraldine Healy winning. Game two was a 9-Pack with Ruth Wieditz winning. Game three was the letter “X” with June Salerno and Ruth Wieditz winning. Game four was Four Cornerswith Faye Goodell winning. JoAnn Roster won with blackout on game five. On Friday, January 14th, the activity of the day was a 500 Card Party with 6 tables of players. Theresa Wieser won 1st place with 3,850 points. Don Selken won 2nd place with 3,290 points. Marlys Finzen won 3rd place with 2.900 points.
