Events and Activities : Just US announces upcoming events

We have a couple of exciting events coming up and we wanted to make sure you have your calendars marked!

Sunday, Nov 24 is the downtown open houses from 12-4 pm.   Remember the One Book, One Community challenge for the end of November is to Shop REAL LIFE.  Think about your purchases and if you are helping support the local businesses!  Go and interact with people that help support our community by supporting their business!

On Sunday, Dec 1- the first EVER Adult Skate from 5-7 pm at the Skate Center.  It is $10 per couple and gets you a free slushie!  No date, no problem!  $5/person.  This is your chance to relive your childhood and go skating!  Don't worry about tripping over a little kid, no kids aloud!   Send us your song requests!  We've had Living on a Prayer, I think we're Along now, Stand by Me, Xanadu, Air Supply, etc.   Don't feel like skating but want a good laugh, COME on out!!   There might even be prizes for the person who brings the most people!

We're not supposed to announce this yet but to really celebrate December's activity of ACT LIKE A KID AGAIN- we're joining together with Vinton Popcorn from the High School and showing a movie on Sunday, Dec 8 at 6 pm.  We can't tell you the name of it yet but I guarantee you won't want to be left home alone while everyone else comes to the movie!  Family friendly fun to relive everyone's favorite Christmas movie!
