The Vinton Guild of Fine Arts will hold an Art Contest during Boomfest this year.
Entry categories:
Pre-K-2nd
Grade 3 – 5
Grades 6 – 8
Grades 9 – 12
Adults
All entries must be 2D Visual Arts that can be displayed on an easel or wall (Drawings, Paintings, Prints, Photographs, and flat Mixed Media).
Entries to be judged by the visiting Wall Dogs.

Submissions are Due: Sunday, August 18, 2019
Entries will be displayed downtown during the Sesquicentennial Celebration 2019.
Winners displayed at Boomfest on Saturday, August 24, and included in 2020 Vinton Art Calendar!
All community members are welcome to participate. This is not just for experienced artists! We will be displaying all of the entries at Pourville all week during the Sesquicentennial.
The Wall Dogs will be judging the contest. Based on their ballots, there will be 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place ribbons in each of five categories.
Winners will be announced on Friday evening, Aug. 23rd, and on Saturday, the winners will be displayed in the Art Guild booth at Boomfest. Photos of the winners will be included in our 2020 Vinton Art Calendar as well.
