The Old Creamery Nature Trail

The Old Creamery Nature Trail is just over 14 miles in length and runs  from Vinton through Garrison to Dysart.  The trail is open for the use  of walkers, runners, bicyclists,  bird watchers and nature  enthusiasts.

Knights of Columbus donate to ARC, Special Olympics

The Knights of Columbus Tootsie Roll Drive, for People with Disabilities was held in August, raised more than $1,000 for area organizations. The Vinton KC presented two checks for $612.

Freedom Quilts 'Made With Love To Comfort You'

      Betty Nielsen of Fonda, Iowa began this project as a response to the tragedy of September 11, 2001. Betty’s project has provided thousands of Freedom Quilts to be given to the 9-11 victims’ families and to soldiers’ families.
