On Friday, August 10, from 5-7 p.m. the Vinton Legion will hold a Fish Fry. The menu will include: Fish Fillet, Baked Potato, Potato Salad, Coleslaw, Baked Beans and Cake Adults: $9.

There will be a U.S. Service Academy Open House on Friday, August 10th. All Iowa students interested in applying to, or learning more about service academies are welcome to attend.
